The government confirmed on Friday it will 우리카지노seek a four-year, €2bn contract for four more troops to take part in the NATO operation against terrorism.
The US and the UK are to pay for the troops, but only if they agree to withdraw from Kosovo immediately.
The decision is expected soon after a visit from the newly appointed prime minister, Hashim Thaci.
Kosovo has been an independent country since the collapse of the old Yugoslavia in 2008.
US and UK support failed
It was only after the international conference on Kosovo in 2008 that the EU agreed to supply weapons to NATO forces in the country.
Mr Thaci has made a series of promises over the last year – including that the Nato troops will be withdrawn from Kosovo by this year, and that the UN troops who will stay on in their po우리카지노sts will have to be replaced.
“All other issues which remain – whether it be relations with Serbia, peacekeeping on a UN base, the role 카지노 사이트of UN forces or other issues – remain in the hands of Mr Hashim Thaci,” the statement from the military said on Friday.
The announcement comes as Nato and the UN said a UN peacekeeping mission in the country would be completed this month but there is still no date for the start of the operation.
